AI PRODUCT BUILDS · AUTOMATION · CONSULTING

Your busy work, automated — live within a week.

Stein Product is a consulting practice that gets businesses organized and puts AI to work on the workflows costing them the most. It's led by Jacob Stein, a Principal product manager who shipped software at Boeing, Maxar, and real-money sports-betting apps used by millions of players.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, and you own the result.

  1. Free intro call

30 minutes. We list what you do by hand and pick the workflow with the highest payoff.

  2. Built for you, then handed over

Stein Product does the building, working through the messy parts so you don't have to. You get a live demo, a recorded walkthrough, and written docs your team can run on its own.

  3. You own everything

The finished automation lives in your accounts, on your keys — your data stays yours, and nothing breaks if the engagement ends.

WHERE TO START

Three ways to get things off your plate.

Each is an outcome, not a block of hours. Start with a Quick-Win, a fixed-scope build, or an advisory call — whichever fits the problem.

Custom automation for your business
Stop doing it by hand.

You have a repetitive workflow — data entry, document generation, copy-paste between tools. Stein Product assesses it, recommends the most cost-effective approach using tools you already pay for, and builds something that works the way you work.

AI Quick-Win

$1,500 flat

A 90-minute kickoff to pick the workflow and lock the scope. You get it built and handed over live: a working automation, a recorded walkthrough, and written docs — within a week.

If it isn't live and documented within a week of kickoff, the follow-up session is free.

Larger builds are fixed-scope, from $2,500.

A custom AI assistant for your business
An AI teammate that handles a job around the clock.

Triaging inbound requests, drafting the weekly report, answering questions from your documents — built to do one job well. Everything you end up with runs in your accounts, on your keys — your data stays yours. Stein Product runs on these assistants every day; now it builds them for businesses.

Scoped per engagement.

Product & AI advisory
Build, buy, or configure — decided with someone who's shipped all three.

Principal-level product guidance for teams navigating AI adoption or product decisions — grounded in operator experience across regulated industries (aerospace & defense, consumer sports betting).

Pricing on request.

Every engagement is fixed-scope and priced on the outcome, not the hour. Projects start with a 50% deposit. If budget is tight, you get a narrower scope — never lower quality.

WHO YOU'RE WORKING WITH

A Principal PM who ships, now pointed at your backlog.

Stein Product is led by Jacob Stein. I spent my career shipping software where the stakes were high: aerospace and defense at Boeing and Maxar, and consumer sports betting — real-money products where millions of players and their money move through the app. I led product as a Principal IC, figuring out what to build, why it matters, and how to ship it without breaking the things that can't break.

Now I do that for businesses of every size, with AI. Most teams have three or four things they've been meaning to fix for a year: the report nobody wants to assemble, the data that gets copied between tools by hand, the process that lives in one person's head. I help you get organized, find the fix with the highest payoff, and build it for you, fast. You don't get a slide deck. You get something that works.

I build with modern AI tooling and ship real software, so "automation" means something that actually runs, not a fragile prototype. That includes consumer products at scale.

The usual path: start with a Quick-Win, then keep going.

Enablement Retainer — $2,000/mo

For teams that want this every month: one automation of Quick-Win scope shipped each month, plus upkeep of everything already built for you. A shared list of what's next so you always know what's coming, same-day weekday responses, and a monthly what's-new briefing. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

In their words.

Jacob was fantastic to work with from start to finish.

He was highly responsive from our very first meeting. I came in with a plan to throw money at an AI-based solution, but Jacob took the time to actually listen to our company's needs and the outcome we were after and proposed a smarter automation approach that skipped the AI complexity and the recurring per use fees altogether.

From there, the process was seamless. He gave me clear follow-up notes and next steps after every conversation, laid out a step-by-step overview of how our engagement would work, and kept the project moving with a solid timeline. He delivered everything he promised, and then some.

Even after launch, he stuck around to make small corrections and dial the program in exactly right and took the time to walk me through the back end so I could make my own tweaks if I ever needed to.

As someone fairly new to this space, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd recommend Jacob without hesitation.

QUESTIONS

Answers before you ask.

What tools do I need?

Whatever you already have. Stein Product builds with the tools you pay for today — the assessment includes recommending the cheapest path, not selling you new software.

We're not technical. Is that a problem?

No. You bring the workflow knowledge; Stein Product brings the build. You'll be able to run everything yourself.

What about our data?

The finished automation runs in your accounts, on your keys — your data stays yours. During the build we work wherever you're comfortable: directly in your systems, or in a sandbox handed over at the end.

What happens after you build it?

You own it. If you want ongoing help, there's a monthly retainer — but nothing breaks if you stop.

How does pricing work?

Fixed scope, priced on the outcome, never hourly. Projects start with a 50% deposit. If budget is tight, you get a narrower scope — never lower quality.

What if it takes longer than a week?

Most Quick-Wins ship inside a week. If your workflow needs more than that, you'll know at kickoff — before the build starts — and we either narrow the scope to fit, or you get a quote for a fixed-scope build instead. No surprise invoices.

Got something you've been meaning to fix or automate?

Book a free intro call. We'll find the one with the highest payoff and scope a first build — 30 minutes, no obligation.
